Our City
Located in south-central Kentucky, Monticello is the county seat of Wayne County. Beautiful Lake Cumberland forms much of the northwest border of Wayne County, while Tennessee forms the southern border. Established in 1801, the City of Monticello is named after the home of Thomas Jefferson.
